Description

This series, which premiered in March 2022 on Discovery Kids Network, is based on “Metegol/Underdogs’” feature film characters. Underdogs United’s first season (52×11) is an action-comedy adventure, focused on an extraordinary team of soccer players in the fantastical world of Sportsville. The squad includes CAPI, the team Captain who loves his set of rules; BETO, a self-obsessed, ultra-fabulous superstar; KIKO, a groovy and unpredictable free thinker; GIGI, an uncontainable force of energy and enthusiasm, and EMMA, the relatable over-achiever who tries to make sense of all of this world’s strangeness. In addition to athletic challenges, the team must also thwart the absurd and destructive efforts of local villain, WALDOBERT WORST, who wants to make everyone in Sportsville as lazy as he is.
